Defining social psychological science is simple, the science of the human mind and behavior as it relates to society. Psychology as a discipline is very broad and sociology is of a different domain. Social psychological science is different from the other disciplines bid sociology and psychology for a few reasons.



Social psychology does not study the full range of theories that psychology does and social psychology is not as broad as sociology. Research methods for a social psychologist also differ from those methods that psychologists and sociologists use.
