Who do you think should dictate how the children of todays society argon being condition? Should the presidential term hold this control or the parent(s)? There are many different opinions on this subject and many arguments. In this editorial cartoon of Corporal Punishment from Cebu Daily News, the government is preventing a charwoman from disciplining a child. We see a woman holding a belt and screaming at a child. The child is clinging to an arm that represents the government crying as if they are scared. The arm is writing the word law in neat letters at the womans feet.

This cartoon is verbalism that the way you want to punish this child is not lawful, embodied punishment is not lawful. I believe parents should be able to discipline their children with a spanking, as prospicient as that is the allot punishment for the crime. However, I believe this punishment should be make with an open, bare palm on the seat of the pants with no more than foursome swats. This lets the child know that they were wrong and they consume to pay for what they have done. After the child calms down I also believe you should discuss with them what they did and why what you did was the appropriate punishment.
