Rape rulings welcomed
Two rapists were recently sentenced to life in Nkomazi while an some other bequeath operate a 16-year jail term. Corridor Gazette reports.

TONGA - The Masibambane women crisis centre ground in the Nkomazi sub region, has welcomed the Tonga Magistrate Courts ruling on three enchant cases.
The centres spokesperson, Ms Norah Fakude, said the recent ruling was a mastery for all women and abused children in the region and also served as proof that the apostrophizes and the law meant business when it came to protecting women and children.
Fakude was reacting after the court sentenced 32-year-old Patric Mkhwanazi, who repeatedly raped his 11-year-old biological daughter from 2009 to 2010, and 39-year-old Dumisani Nhlambo who raped a nine-year-old girl.
Both were sentenced to life imprisonment, while Isaac Sambo, who raped a 16-year-old girl, will serve a 16-year jail term.
We are really quick-witted about these rulings. I am certain they will ventilate a clear and strong message to all sexual offenders out there that the state and the law have interpreted a very strong stance to protect women and children.
As we celebrate and welcome the court ruling, we hope that all the other pending rape cases will receive high precedency and be dealt with speedily, she said.
Tonga legal philosophy spokesperson, Sgt Mzwandile Nyambi also welcomed the sentence and said this would instal to all communities that police were working around the clock to become a crime-free society.
The sentence will also prove that our police do investigate dockets opened by complainants and that by cooperating with the communities, we stern eradicate crime, said Nyambi.
